Smart Work vs Hard Work
Strategy and planning is the main difference between smart work and hard work. Strategy must be based upon reality. Planning based upon the understanding ground level situation and competition.100% clarity provides confidence.
Imagine a dark room with bare and dangerous electric wires on the ground as compared to light room with bare electric wires. Non clear mind depends upon others. Smart work is easiest way of work with strategy and planning. Nothing is bad in this world. It’s skill of use which makes is good or bad e.g, fire. Effortless acting attracts more than acting with effort. When hard work is related to the problem solution then it’s never ending struggle. Problems of life is a never ending series. Hard work is; you are cutting the leaves and branches which are too many. Smart work is; focusing; leaves are attached to branches, branches are attached to trunk or stem; trunk is attached to roots. Cut the roots and be satisfied. Competition is where all people are struggling in the same way.
If you can take the position where you have no replacement. One way of success is struggle as other people are doing. It’s like a race of crowd on a small and narrow road. It’s hard work. If someone falls or hurts, it makes no difference to me. I have to achieve the goal. In corporate environment, if you are doing extraordinary in a team of 30, 29 would start lobbying against you. This excellence performance is taking you nowhere.
On the other side; there is a road; which is much more wide and long; and no one is there. No one even knows about it. That is smart work.
Kiya Hai Tu Ne Mataa-e-Ghuroor Ka Soda
Faraib Sood-o-Zayan, La Ilaha Illallah
A bargain you have struck for goods of life, a step, that smacks conceit, All save the call "No god but He," is merely fraught with fraud and deceit.

When someone is mean, don’t listen. When someone is rude, walk away. When someone tries to put you down, stay firm. Don’t let someone else’s bad behavior destroy your inner peace.
